What is this?

You have been chosen to be my very exclusive group of friends to write and publish what’s going on with my farm and family. As I become more confident in my writing ability I plan to add more friends.

A lot is happening.

We are expecting a new baby in July, Mrs. Delaney Rose Ervin.

We are also transitioning back to our farm in Arkansas. We have been fencing in cow, goat, and sheep pastures, digging trenches for water lines for city water in our new yard out to the barnyard, and we have plans for 3 large areas fenced by the end of spring.

We are moving our camper up to the top of the mountain to be closer to the farm animals, water and electricity hook ups. We are preparing the yome to rent out next spring, while staying in it this spring, summer, and fall. We will be in our little camper for the winter months. We also have a new “wash house” coming, a 10x12 Derksen building (shed) for our laundry, freezer, sink, kitchen counter and more. (Several possibilities) I am just setting up this “substack” newsletter so bare with me as I learn how everything works. I want this to be a place to keep up with what’s happening on our little farm, as well as share ideas, inspiration, and a little about how cool God is.

I will send out a newsletter that will come right to your email so you can look when you feel like reading. I like this format because it’s focused on writing rather than ads and social media, hope you like it too! This gives me an opportunity to write in a more comfortable space to an audience who is interested in what I am writing about.
